Mary received her B.A. in music from the University of Mary Washington in 1999. She has over 15 years experience as a private instructor of piano and violin. She has also taught beginning strings classes. She has performed both on violin and piano with the Mary Washington College-Community Symphony, the Rappahannock Pops Orchestra, and the Manassas Symphony. She currently serves as pianist/organist for Fairview Baptist Church. Mary strives to help her students become independent musicians, able to learn new music on their own. As a member of the Rappahannock Music Society, Virginia Federation of Music Clubs, and National Federation of Music Clubs, she is able to offer several extra performance opportunities to her students if they choose. She enjoys working with students of all ages.
